Students will examine the various issues and ideas involved in the creation and ratification of the United States Constitution through research and simulation. The simulation is conducted in much the same way as the actual Constitutional Convention. Students are given a historical representative to the Constitutional Convention. They then do research on their person's historical stands on the issues. After this, the convention is re-enacted in the classroom, with the teacher taking the part of George Washington.
